It's been a while...

Since I wrote in the blog. Let's see--what has happened
1. No summer school class for me--enrollment was too low and the class was cancelled. I'm not too disappointed because I have more time available.
2. Spent the Memorial day weekend in Little Rock, celebrating David's 25th birthday. We had a nice time, but it was a rainy weekend.
3. My garden is coming along, but I've been working very hard on it. I still have shrubs to prune and iris to divide.
4. Science Sleuths is over at the Botanic Garden, and bad news, our leader, Tracy, is leaving the garden to be a full time mom.
5. Roadside is going full tilt. I'm picking up "used" flowers that are past their freshness date from a local business, and we are drying them. I had 14 bunches of roses hanging in my basement last week. Roses are the most popular flowers at the workshops. more about this later.
6. We are having a very cool and rainy summer so far. Good for the plants, not so good for the humans.
7. Alma is having more trouble with arthritis. She did make the trip to Little Rock, and really enjoyed the ride, but gave us a few scares. She needs help to get up, and is wobbly when she walks. Her temperament is sweeter than ever.
8. I am doing the table arrangements for a wedding on July 11. I am a little nervous about this.
9. My husband and I are working on a rejuvenation of our kitchen. This take a lot of time to get going.
